Experience fun-filled activities including swimming, fishing, and barbeque gatherings with friends and family at Deans Pond.

Swimming
Deans Pond offers swimming from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day and when schools go into half days before the summer recess. Lifeguards are certified for ponds and lakes. Lifeguard hours are from 1:30-6:30pm (2-8pm on Wednesdays.) Water quality is checked weekly during the swimming season by the Westchester County Department of Health as required by the county for all public bathing beaches. Our water quality has always exceeded standards.

Sandy Beach
The beach is a favorite for toddlers, teens and adults alike. Basking in the sun, castle building and "digging" to China are daily activities.

Boating
Canoes, rowboats and kayaks are available for leisure, exercise and fishing. Children under 12 are required to use life vests provided.

Fishing
Pond members are welcome to fish from boats or cast off from the shore. Enjoy looking for the many varieties of turtles and frogs.

Sports
Adults and children alike take part in kickball, soccer, baseball and wiffle ball in the fields or play alligator in the water. There is a play set for younger children.

Wednesday Night BBQs
From the last week of school until at least Labor Day. Bring your own food and drink, including some to share if you'd like and enjoy spending time outside with family, neighbors and friends. Our large charcoal grill is lit for grilling supper and making smores. There are usually plenty of children to get some games going and lifeguard hours are extended.

Kick-Off Party
This party starts off the season at the Pond where refreshments are served and members get a change to meet & mingle, welcome new members and elect new board members.

End of the Season Bonfire
Our September bonfire is a great way to end the season. Barbeque supper one last time and enjoy stories and s'mores around the campfire.

Trick or Treating
for children at the pond

Adult Holiday Party
In December indoors. Features a gift swap, potluck appetizers and desserts and a 50/50 raffle.

Holiday Caroling
meet at the pond and carol around the neigborhood ending with hot cocoa.
